FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

To be eligible for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), candidates must have completed their Class 12th or equivalent with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology. Candidates from reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC) are required to score a minimum of 40% in the same subjects.

NEET is a national-level exam in India for students seeking admission to undergraduate medical and dental courses. The exam covers topics from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from the Class 11 and 12 curriculum. The questions are typically multiple-choice in nature, including formats like matching-type questions. The goal is to assess the candidate's knowledge and understanding of these subjects.

The Indian Institutes of Technology Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE) is a competitive exam for admission to engineering programs at IITs, NITs, and other prestigious engineering institutes in India. It consists of two stages: JEE Main and JEE Advanced. Candidates who score well in JEE Main can qualify for JEE Advanced, which determines final admissions to IITs.

Balancing JEE preparation with board exams requires effective planning. Here are some tips:
  • - Create a Study Plan: Make a balanced schedule that includes time for both exams. Break down topics and allocate time for revision and practice.
  • - Set Priorities: Focus on topics that overlap between the two exams. Cover the syllabus for board exams while preparing for JEE concepts.
  • - Stay Organized: Keep all your notes and study materials in order to avoid distractions and save time.
  • - Seek Support: Don’t hesitate to ask teachers, tutors, or peers for help if you find a topic challenging.
  • - Maintain Health: Take care of your physical and mental well-being with regular sleep, a balanced diet, and short breaks.

While 12th-grade marks are important for eligibility, they are not a key factor in JEE rankings. To be eligible for JEE, candidates must have passed Class 12th with at least 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (for general category). However, final admission to engineering programs is based on JEE scores, not 12th-grade marks.
